Separating Effects

To separate an effect from the original object:

1. Select the desired object.
2. From the Effects menu, select Separate […].

   The effect name will be displayed after the Separate command.

3. Click in the design area outside of the object.
4. Reselect and drag the object to separate it from its effect.
