Selecting Objects Based on Attributes

You can specify objects to select based on their type, fill, stroke, and effect. (For example, you can select all blue rectangles or all text.)

  1. From the Edit menu, point to Select and click Select by Attributes.
    (or press D on the keyboard).
  2. Select which attributes will be used in the selection.

    Fill tab

    Stroke tab

    Effect tab

  3. Select the attribute types to select by.
  4. Click OK.
